Sacred Love - Compassion is Understanding and Understanding is Wisdom

Sacred Love - Compassion is Understanding and Understanding is Wisdom

Each day count your blessings to be alive and able to love. Although emotion may suggest that life is not always fair, never allow the pains, hurdles, and disappointments of the moment to overwhelm your loving attitude and plans for yourself and your beloved. What you don’t appreciate, depreciates. You can never win when you wear the resentful mask of self-pity, and the bitter taste of accusation. They will certainly frighten away any opportunity for love. Never again hold a critical thought for yourself or your beloved. There is a better way.

Understanding your lover, frees you to build more love with them. Trying to change them, destroys it. Sometimes our expectations are false, and that makes it impossible to be happy. If our expectations are real, then usually we find that people behave according to certain patterns, and those patterns belong to their constitution. Many quarrels occur between lovers because we fail to understand each others differences. Tolerance is important in this. What makes tolerance all the more easy Выбор Ноутбука is the skill of predicting exactly how a certain “type” of person will act and react.

What is fascinating is that we fall in love with what is unique about a person, and then spend the rest of the time in relationship trying to change them to be someone else. It’s because what makes them unique is also what causes all their problems.

The ancients knew that to define a person by what they think, was to play into the hands of the human Ego, so they focused their understanding of human character on the different constitution of each body type. The result is Yoga and its sister science of health, Ayurveda.

D came to me about his relationship. “I have done everything she asked, I gave up golf, I look after the kids, I give her back rubs, I don’t watch footy, I am now a vegetarian, I listen to her spiritual music. Everything she asked, I did. I even closed my office early every day to pick up our daughter from school so my wife could work late in her own business. I did everything, and last week she left me because my income is lousy. She told me that she couldn’t hope to meet a more giving man, but she needed more”.

I asked D a question based on the fifth law of nature, “What do you think she was attracted to when you first met her, why did she marry you in the first place?”

D replied, “She wanted children, I wanted children. She wanted to build wealth, I wanted to build wealth. She wanted me to succeed in my clinic, I wanted her to succeed in her clinic. I guess you could say we had dreams to share and that’s what we loved about each other, we shared dreams and wanted to help each other fulfill them.”

Then I asked “So why did she leave?”

D replied, “Well my dreams didn’t happen, my business was struggling all the time, but that had a lot to do with the fact that she needed help and I gave up 3 hours a day in my clinic to help her.”

“So what you are saying, D, is that she lost faith in your dreams”

D replied “Yes, I guess so. But her success in her business was because I gave up on some of mine. Isn’t that what relationships are about, give and take?”

“I don’t know D, but why did she leave?”

“I told you, because she lost faith in my dreams. I did everything to please her, and still she wasn’t happy.”

I returned to the laws of Nature. “D. there’s a law, and it is universal, It says ‘Nobody can do to you more than you do to yourself’. So if your wife lost heart toward your dream, then that can only tell me that you did too.” D replied “Yes, but I wanted the relationship to work.”

I shared more “Did you know that when one person loses their dream, their vision for the future, they always turn their focus in on the relationship and begin to make the relationship the purpose of their life? Can you imagine a tree, whose purpose is to grow skyward, but it changes its mind and starts making its purpose helping another tree to grow. What do you think would happen?”

D replied “I know from what you told me before, the Nature destroys anything that does not fulfill its purpose.”

“So why would nature destroy your relationship?”

D had tears in his eyes “To get me back on purpose?”

I asked “And what is that?”

D replied “I don’t know. I had a dream when w

End Homework Battles

End Homework Battles

Ask parents what their biggest school year challenge is, and you’ll выбор хлебопечки likely hear that it is the difficulty they face in getting their kids to do homework. With so many other attractive ways for kids to spend their time, getting them to buckle down and complete that extra bit of schoolwork can be like pulling teeth. As with any chore, though, there are strategies you can use to get it done and make it more fun.

1. Make Time for Homework
Fitness gurus have known this for years: you are more likely to stick to an exercise regimen if you do it at the same time everyday and make it an inviolable part of your schedule. The same goes for homework. Don’t leave it up in the air as to when homework will be completed. This only ensures that it won’t get completed until you have an extended argument with your Voigtlaender Virtus D4 child about it—usually one hour after bedtime. Instead, sit down with your child and review your family schedule for the upcoming semester. Decide where homework will fit in your daily schedule and make it non-negotiable. It is always helpful to anchor homework time to some other regular activity. Good choices are: directly after school or right before or after dinner. (Scheduling homework in the hour before bedtime is usually not a good practice since your child may be too sleepy to do a good job.)

It is also important to dedicate a set amount of time for homework. This will discourage students from rushing through homework so that they can watch the latest Disney video. What is a reasonable amount of time to spend on homework? That varies with age. Check with your child’s teacher. It is generally accepted, though, that First and Second graders should spend about a half hour on homework each night while Third and Fourth graders might need to spend as much as an hour per night.

2. Don’t Accept No for an Answer

Before You Head Off, Make Sure You Know Where You Are Going - The Importance of Clear Objectives

The title of this article sounds like simple advice, but so often we somerset house publishing undertake activities and projects название стиля прически 30-х годов without really understanding how they are going to help us to achieve our aims. Eating out in Bergamo

by tvsetonline on Dec.24, 2008, under cooking, manga, news, site

Eating out in Bergamo

I recently spent an enjoyable week in Bergamo! I fell right into the atmosphere and didn’t want to resurface when it came time to pack my bags and leave! The hotel I stayed at was the Excelsior San Marco in the Lower City (Citta Bassa) directly beneath the all-imposing view of the Upper City (Citta Alta); the old and the even Microtek Take-It S1 older parts of Bergamo!

Every evening after my work had finished I Гриб над ЧАЭС would shun the local Funicolare, the tram service that navigated the steep climb to the upper city and climb the many cobbled steps to the top. Walking around the winding streets first I would work up an appetite, mulling over the varied choice of small pasta places to eat at!

NB: At this point I would like to make LG 20LS2R it clear that Bergamo does not associate with or have any connection to Bergamo Pizza & Pasta; Kennesaw, Atlanta: “Your friendly neighborhood pizza place”!

Bergamo restaurants do not resemble a Pizza Hut or serve up tinned pasta and certainly do not have plastic chairs and an “eat all you can for five-pound menu”! The food and eateries in Bergamo are special! They are steeped Sony Ericsson T280i in history, run by families and passed down through the generations. They are often snuggled into or under the many floors of a 300 year old stone structure that balances faithfully on one of the steep and winding streets and they come resplendent with local specialties, regular customers, great wines and a plate full of polenta (a mushy mass of corn meal, the staple food of Northern Italy - the “poor mans” meal but now widely served up in a variety of disguises!)

Most of the tourists to Bergamo seem to be Italians as invariably I was the only non-Italian speaking customer present amongst the five or six tables that most establish

Chicken Soup and My Family

Chicken Soup and My Family

Everyone in my family had come down with a nasty cold/flu that had been going through Miami like those wildfires in the Everglades. We were walking around like sniffling, bleary-eyed zombies addicted to Kleenex and Theraflu. Pitiful. On Saturday after struggling all week with the over-the-counter medications, my wife turned to nokia n78 me and said, “You know what you have to do, don’t you?” I knew.

It wasn’t that I was dreading making the chicken soup, but my new responsibilities at the college were taking their toll, and I thought about the mountain of work that I had brought home. I was determined that not even a cold was going to stop me from finishing the job. I reluctantly told my wife yes SIEMENS SF 24 T 558 with the secret hope that everyone would have forgotten by the next day. But by the next morning, my son, Andrew, was downstairs with a list for the supermarket and his stern admonition, “Don’t forget to make the dumplings.” Sometimes I have to remind Andrew and his sister that it’s called “chicken soup,” not “dumpling soup.” So, on Sunday evening after going to the supermarket, I pulled Electrolux ESF 2410 out my stock pot and made my famous chicken soup that my mother taught Las Vegas Homes me how to make.

How to Design a Lighting Plan

You are doing a remodel and know that you want to add some lighting to the room, but your stumped. Where do I start is the most common question I get asked. There ELECTROLUX EMM 2005 are some basic guidelines and factors that can help you Smeg BLV1X-1 determine where to start and how to proceed.
